The Battle of Singleton was a battle during the Australian Civil War. The town of Banks, became a battleground when both sides seek to occupy it.
The Battle[]
It began during a march on October 4th where a Regiment of the White Supremacist Army seeked to occupy the town. It soon met with the 8th Brigade whom had the same idea. 2 Reserves were killed by a rifleman and soon both sides began shooting at each other. An M1 Abrams then crashed through a wall and began firing at the White Supremacists sending the casualty list from 1 to 100 in just a few moments. It however was neutralized by a barrage of rocket rounds. The tank was abandoned in the centre of town and used as a line between the two sides. By a nightfall, 3 more Loyalists were killed due to Mortar fire while 300 more White Supremacists were killed by a Reaper drone. The battle went on for 6 days and one day 2 the UAV was hacked and used to 5 reserves sending the count to 10 Thatcher Loyalists. The UAV was destroyed in retaliation and two tanks swarmed the area and destroy several fortified positions. However the forward area for the Thatcher Loyalists were laced with Anti-Tank mines preventing the tanks from moving forward. On day 5, the tanks bombarded the minefield with their missiles along with two Reapers allowing them to move forward. By this time the casualty list for the White Supremacist is now 1191, and 9 more were added by day 6. The White Supremacist then retreated back to the coast, ending the battle to the Loyalists favour.
